Early Childhood Education

Visalia Unified Early Childhood Education Programs exist to provide every student with opportunities and experiences that will develop confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
We work collaboratively with families to support the growth and development of students in a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.
Preschool
If your child was born between September 2, 2021 and December 1, 2022, they are eligible for our preschool program for the 25-26 school year.
Transitional Kindergarten
If your child turns four by September 1, 2025 they are eligible for universal transitional kindergarten (TK) for the 25-26 School year.
